One of the delights of living in our community is the rich and diverse local music scene. From the recital halls to the bars, from the library "reading room" to the streets, great local music is happening!
UFLive! is our regular 3rd Sunday live music program here at the library and new this summer will be Cherry Jams, another live music program, this one held outside in our lovely Cherry Alley.
The Urbana Free Library also collects the recorded music of our local musicians. Our collection at this point includes 233 CDs, covering all genres and three decades! This growing collection may be accessed by searching the words "local music" as a subject heading, or, you can stop by the library and pick up one of our beautiful uTunes hand-outs - we redid the whole set in honor of our new volume 3.
