An interesting post on Saturday at WSJ.com of emails Stieg Larsson wrote to his editor reveals some of Larsson's thoughts about and perceived difficulties with his characters.
Apparently they come from a book titled On Stieg Larsson that will be included as part of the Millennium Trilogy box set. I haven't seen it available singly, or I'd order it for the library's collection. If you happen to come across a copy, consider donating when you're finished with it. I'm sure others would be interested, too.
