There was an interesting story on NPR last week about Elmore Leonard, author of many stories, including several that went on to be adapted to film, like Get Shorty [Hardcover, Large print, Paperback] and 3:10 to Yuma [DVD, Book]. The timing of the interview was likely intended to promote the new television show, Justified [IMDb, Slant Review], which is based on Leonard's short story, "Fire in the Hole."
