I got enough to do without you birds cracking foxy!

It has been brought to my attention that there are those who are feeling indecisive about what to do on Friday evening, April 17, 2009, 6:30-8:30, there being so much happening around town and all.

Folks, there's only one place to be and that's The Urbana Free Library. This dame I know, Pat Gill, is coming in for a special after-hours event - she's gonna shed some of her own special brand of illumination on the film noir genre for us -- if you get my drift. Plus, you know, this is the Big Read, we're talking about books and all that - hard-boiled dicks and femmes fatale - it doesn't get any better than that.

So be there, huh? We don't want to have to send a gunsel after you, and you don't want your librarians going blood simple. No, you sure don't want that!

Got it? Swell! I'll see you at the CU Big Read Keynote address: Film Noir: Dangerous Men and Deadly Dames - Prof. Pat Gill, Friday, April 17, 2009, 6:30-8:30, Busey-Mills Reading Room, The Urbana Free Library.

Refreshments will be served.
